3 Brothers Movies: Introduction

Welcome to the 3 Brothers Movies review blog!
I am the daughter of one of the brothers Chidister who collected over 2500 VHS movies each, for a total of over 7500 movies of the three of them.
My father passed away sadly in April 2003 and he left his collection to me. At the time, I chose to just keep the DVDs and gave the VHS' to my uncle, my dad's younger brother, Fred. 
Their older brother, my Uncle Howie then passed away in 2005 and his movie collection went to my Uncle Freddy. 
Some of these movies were duplicate, triplicate as when one brother got one, the others did too or already had it. Sometimes, Uncle Howie would forget what he had and would purchase a movie again. He even had some movies he never had opened.
Uncle Freddy is alive thankfully, the last of the brothers who were totaled 4 actually. The 4th had died many years ago, Uncle Dave, who was the twin of Uncle Freddy. He has recently given me ALL of these movies. So I now have the entire collection.

So as I am going through all of these VHS movies as I want to be sure they are still in good condition, I thought to share them here on a blog.

Some of the movies, I already have on DVD and those I do have a copy of, I'll be looking to sell them to any interested party that contacts me. These are beloved movies of my family however as we all are big movie buffs so I'd like to pass them on to someone who may enjoy them just as much as my family has.

As I was growing up, my dad and Uncle Freddy & Uncle Howie too, would trade movie quotes and I would hear them say them quite often. I never knew where those lines came from but as I watched some of these movies, I am hearing and discovering the source of the quotes! It makes me laugh and smile to hear them as I think fondly of my dad.

I won't go into the full story line or ending of these movies during my reviews, many will just be a quick snippet with my own personal thoughts on them. That way, you can go and check it out and see what you think on your own. I'll be cataloging these movies and you'll see the lists start to appear on the side of this blog, both under movie actor name and genre. Genre or type of movie, is at times hard to say but I'll just put the movie into a category or maybe two that I personally feel it might belong into.

Again, these will be my own personal opinions and is not going to be anywhere near the same as one of the known movie critics. We all have our own personal tastes and well, as a friend of mine is fond of saying, 'your results may differ'. I know there are probably a whole slew of movie critics or blogs out there. This is just something I wanted to do for the movies the 3 Brothers had collected.
